There is nothing like the live theater experience at The Westport Country Playhouse...performances that make you feel, think, and spark a conversation — shared between actors and audience. Another fantastic summer of FREE music is on its way! Fairfield Theatre Company is pleased to present their 2nd annual Fresh-Air Concert Series, in the FTC Parking Lot. Every Tuesday from 5:30-8:30PM through August 30, they will feature up-and-coming local musicians, food trucks, and beer tastings. No ticket is required. Seating is festival-style so bring your own chair or blanket and of course your friends and family. All ages are welcome! Concessions & restrooms will be open inside The Warehouse. In the event of inclement weather, concerts will be moved into The Warehouse. This FREE community event is made possible by people like you who continue to support FTC. When so many of us have the world at our fingertips through computers and smart phones, it becomes even more important to find ways to get face-to-face with our world’s wildlife. Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo is 100 years old and cares for more than 100 species –including some who are critically endangered, and potentially facing extinction. Become a member and enjoy unlimited admission and free/discounted admission to over 150 zoos & aquariums! Our goal is to instill a sense of wonder for the wild world, engage guests of all ages with the beauty and power of the animals in our collection, and encourage all of us to do our part to protect the lives of endangered species and endangered places. The Zoo is open daily from 9:00am - 4:00pm.
Silverman’s Farm in Easton is the Total Farm Experience! The Country market is open 7 days a week from 9am-5pm and is full of everything from fruits and vegetables to dairy products, jams, jellies, and condiments. They always have sweet treats to share with friends and family! Have a fun outing and pick your own raspberries, blueberries, peaches and apples! Kids and adults all love to visit Silverman’s rustic animal farm! See, pet, and feed all sorts of unusual animals. It’s a fun place to have a birthday party too! Silverman’s Farm has been a family staple in Fairfield County for over 100 years!
