Are you ready to get in the St. Patrick’s Day spirit? If so, we have pulled together our top 5 events happening this weekend in Fairfield County for you to partake in!


1. The Shamrock Stroll in Stamford at Harbor Point 

Sunday, March 12, 2023 

Start your day with a 5K Fun Run starting at Harbor Point. Check In begins at 7:30 and the race kicks off at 8:00am rain or shine! Costumes are encouraged, so make sure you dress in your best green and shamrocks. Be sure to end the race by enjoying a pint at Third Place by Half Full Brewery!


2. St. Patrick’s Day Cookie Class at Aquila's Nest Vineyard

Saturday, March 11, 2023 

What is better than an afternoon of food, wine and cookie decorating? You will decorate 6 St. Patrick’s Day cookies – and then take them home to enjoy! This event runs from 11-2 PM and is sure to be a sweet addition to your weekend!


3. Milford St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Saturday, March 11, 2023

Join one of the largest parades in the State! This day full of fun starts at 1:00 and takes off at Wasson Field. The Milford Parade is a community tradition you and your family won’t want to miss out on!


4. Lenihan Irish Dance Performance 

Pequot Library, Southport

Enjoy the Lenihan School of Irish Dance annual performance in Southport. It is a special treat to watch them dance, and if you always wanted to give it a try- they will be teaching some basic kicks and steps! 


5. Twelve Percent Beer Project’s Irish Fest

Visit Twelve Percent Beer Project’s Annual Irish Fest for a day filled with live music, dancing, food, and beers. This all day event begins at 9am and costs just $20 to join, including your first beer and a souvenir glass! Those under 21 are welcome free of charge if accompanied by an adult, and designated driver driver tickets are just $5!
