Memorial Day Pancake Breakfast

St. Paul's in Fairfield serves a delicious breakfast of pancakes, sausage, coffee before and during the Memorial Day Parade. Located next to the Town Green and will be serving from 7am to noon. It's a great way to get your memorial day off on the right foot.

 

Memorial Day Hot Air Balloon Ride

Ever wished you could ride in a hot air balloon? Come and support local charities this Memorial Day in Fairfield before the parade. The whole family can have this opportunity of a lifetime.

 

Fairfield memorial day parade

The upcoming Memorial Day parade in Fairfield is part of a nearly 160-year tradition that begins at the corner of Post and South Pine Creek Roads and ends on Old Post Road in front of Old Town Hall. Retired and active-duty military personnel are invited to march in the parade and sit on the reviewing stand after the march. It's a great way to get the family out of the house and pay your respects for the weekend.

 

Milford Food Truck Festival

The 9th annual Milford Food Truck Fest and Open Air Market is a great activity for this weekend. The event offers free admission at the Connecticut Post Mall this Memorial Day weekend. Come eat from some of the top food trucks in CT of all types. There will be bouncy houses, carnival games, face painting, henna and the roaming train for the kids.

 

Memorial day open house at the Fairfield museum

As part of the Memorial Day Town Parade, the Fairfield Museum is open to the public without charge. Bring your family and friends for an afternoon of games and crafts. On Memorial Day, the event will run from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m.

 

Westport fine arts festival

The 50th Westport Fine Arts Festival remains a highlight of memorial weekend. Original Painting, Watercolor, Photography/Digital Art, Sculpture, Drawing (Pastel, Pencil, Ink), Printmaking, Mixed Media, Glass/ Ceramics, Jewelry, and Wood are displayed in beautiful downtown Westport. Additionally Live music, special performances, and children's activities make this a festival for everyone.
