About Christopher

Christopher Cook was born and raised in Westport, CT. After attending Mitchell College where he studied Business, he decided to follow a lifelong passion for boating and enroll in Captain’s school in Florida. Graduating with a US Coastguard License he worked as a Captain aboard private mega yachts traveling the world and exploring new cultures. The ports of South America, Europe and the South Pacific all became his back drop. These years were filled with learning, growth and a new found appreciation for the diversity of the world. Thinking it would be a nice to change to come home in the evening to a house that wasn’t on the water, Chris began a search for something on land back in the States. Taking a job as a yacht broker proved to be a niche that he fell in love with. Combining his passion for the water and his skills at sales and marketing, he found amazing success and quickly rose to the top of his field. The relationships that he built during those years remain some of his lifelong clients and friends to this day. Through his success, yacht brokering evolved into the Logistics and Chris began to outfit new build yachts working closely with owners and management making his clients dreams become reality. He takes great pride in these years where he learned invaluable life lessons in sales, marketing, interpersonal dynamics and most importantly – building relationships.
Creative, out-of-the-box thinking and an ability to create lasting partnerships have always been two qualities that set Chris apart from his peers. He has recently made the move back to his original roots in Westport. Leaving behind the boating industry while carrying his experience forward, he steps into real estate with the same goals and commitment he has fostered all of his professional life. He continues to build relationships and find creative ways to make his clients dreams, realities. His real estate success, already apparent, is also differentiated by an uncanny grasp on social media and online marketing techniques, bringing his clients the added value of a technology expert in their corner.
