Floria was born and raised in Connecticut and has lived in Fairfield County most of her life. Floria was born and raised in Connecticut and has lived in Fairfield County most of her life. After graduating from the University of Connecticut in 1984, she applied her Communications degree in a variety of career venues. She has been an international flight attendant for Pan Am, worked on Fashion Avenue in Manhattan as well as the Corporate Facilities/Property Director with World Wrestling Entertainment in Stamford for 9 years. Working in these high energy and fast paced environments gave Floria the confidence and ability to start her own business in 1998 as a General Contractor/Builder. She went on to construct both custom and spec houses for a variety of buyers, as well as branch into renovation and commercial construction. Floria’s entrepreneurial nature has led her to develop and then sell other businesses related to land development and construction. Her love of residential building coupled with her attention to detail and organizational skills makes her an energetic and diverse Real Estate Adviser and that keeps her focused and driven. She has been a Licensed Realtor since 2009 and has helped so many clients reach the foresight to design and then reconstruct portions of their new homes to optimally fit their lifestyle. Her role as Vice President, Team Development allows her to use her years of experience to help fine tune the skills and customer service of the Vanderblue  agents and staff to be the best they can be. Floria loves spending time with her husband and two children, and is an avid skier, who also enjoys to read and travel.
